O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to issue computerized UDR patta in respect of the property measuring about 0.0800 sq.mts in S.No.114/4, 0.0650 sq.mts in S.No.38/4A and 0.3150 sq.mts in S.No.38/4B situate in Tambaram Village and Town, Kanchipuram District now Chengalpattu District in the name of petitioner, Dhanam Mohan, Sharmila Mohan, Pramila Mohan and Revi Mohan and to upload the same in the official website of the revenue authorities.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was issued with SLR patta. Hence, the petitioner filed this writ petition for the aforesaid relief. However, after filing of this writ petition, the petitioner came to know that in respect of Chennai there is no procedure available for computerized UDR patta and the officials are issuing only SLR patta. The learned counsel further submitted that the SLR patta issued to the petitioner has to be uploaded in the website of the revenue authorities. Hence, this Court may permit the petitioner to make application seeking to upload the SLR patta in the website and issue direction to the respondents to consider the same and to upload the petitioner's SLR patta in the website.

3.Admittedly, in Chennai, there is no procedure available for computerized UDR patta and the officials are issuing only SLR patta. In the present case, the petitioner was issued with SLR patta, however, the same has to be uploaded in the website of the revenue authorities.

4.Hence, considering the request made by the petitioner this Court permits the petitioner to make application to the respondents seeking to upload the SLR patta in the website of the revenue authorities, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any such application is made by the petitioner, the respondents shall consider the same and shall upload the SLR patta issued in favour of the petitioner in the website, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
