Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the record of the respondents especially his proceedings made in Na.Ka.No.1374/Aaa5/2012 dated 04.07.2012 along 1/4

with the seniority under Form No.8 in the post of Head Masters of Elementary School as dated 01.01.2012 and quash the same as null and void illegal and invalid in so far as the overlooking the name of the petitioner is concerned, and consequently directing the respondents 1 and 2 to promote the petitioner as Head Master of Elementary Schools as per her order of placement/seniority provided pursuant to seniority list of the year 2011 and pass such further orders.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 27.02.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this Court directed the Registry to list the matter under the caption "For Dismissal" on 29.02.2024.

2. Even today, 29.02.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing at 10.45 a.m., none of them appeared on behalf of the petitioner. It is made clear and evident that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the 2/4

case.

3. Since there is no representation for the petitioner, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution.

4. In the result, the writ petition stands dismissed for NonProsecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
