2. This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking withdrawal of H.M.O.P. No.4784 of 2021 pending on the file of the VI Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai, and transfer thereof to the District Family Court, Tiruppur, to be tried along with H.M.O.P. No.665 of 2023 pending there.

3. It is stated that the petitioner/wife is residing at Tiruppur. It is also placed that the stage of the case is at counter stage.

4. There is no appearance for the respondent.

5. Having regard to the petitioner's place of residence and the stage of the proceedings, this Court is satisfied that the transfer sought is to be ordered.

6. Accordingly, Tr.C.M.P. No.169 of 2024 is allowed, with the following directions:

(i) H.M.O.P. No.4784 of 2021 pending on the file of the VI Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the District Family Court, Tiruppur.

(ii) The Family Court, Chennai shall transmit the entire records forthwith to the District Family Court, Tiruppur.

(iii) The District Family Court, Tiruppur shall take up H.M.O.P. No.4784 of 2021 along with H.M.O.P. No.665 of 2023, and proceed in accordance with law, from the stage at which the matters stand.

7. No costs. Consequently, C.M.P. No.3305 of 2024 stands closed. 3/6
