Respondents Prayer: Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to grant two weeks leave to the detenue Sundaramurthy, Son of Vedisamiyar, C.No.3600 now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal-I, Chennai to see his ailing mother Marimuthu, aged 95 years.

O R D E R

(The Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN.J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the friend of the life convict, viz., Sundaramurthy, Son of Vedisamiyar, C.No.3600 now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal-I, Chennai seeking to direct the respondents to grant two weeks leave to the detenue to see his ailing mother Marimuthu, aged 95 years. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. When the matter was listed on 22.04.2015, this Court granted parole to the life convict for two days on 27.04.2015 and 28.04.2015 to visit his ailing mother and directed him to be lodged back in the Central Prison, Puzhal-I, Chennai on 29.04.2015.

3. Today, the matter is listed under the caption "for reporting compliance."

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the conditional order passed by this Court dated 22.04.2015 has been complied with and the detenue has returned back to the Central Prison, Puzhal-I, Chennai.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents also submitted that the detenue has been lodged back to the prison after returning from the parole granted by this Court.

6. Recording the submission made on either side, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
