PRAYER: This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.29696 of 2024 in para 7(b) dated 10.12.2024 on the petitioner/accused.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks modification of the condition imposed on him in para no. 7(b) that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police on every day at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter on every Saturday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders, in Crl.O.P.No.29696 of 2024 dated 10.12.2024.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the final report has been filed.

3. Accordingly, the condition imposed on the petitioner in para no.7(b) in Crl.O.P.No.29696 of 2024 dated 10.12.2024 is modified, directing the petitioner to appear before the trial court on all hearing dates. The other conditions imposed in the order dated 10.12.2024 in Crl.O.P. No.29696 of 2024 shall remain unaltered.

4. Further, time to furnish surety is extended by a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered, and the condition is modified.
