The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is filed against the order dated 13.12.2013 passed in W.C.No.167 of 2008 on the file of the Commissioner of Workmen's Compensation/Deputy Commissioner of Labour-II, Chennai.
2. This Court admitted the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal and issued notice to the respondents on 07.03.2016. Inspite of the order of this Court, the appellant has not taken any steps to serve notice to the respondent. Even thereafter, the matter was listed on several occasions. Till today, the appellant has not served notice to the respondent, even after a lapse of four years. Thus, this Court is not inclined to keep the matter pending further. Accordingly, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal stands dismissed.
No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
