This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.3343 of 2016 on the file of the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai thereby taken cognizance for the offences under Sections 379, 420 and 494 @ 498 of IPC in Crime No.1 of 2009, as against the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was acquitted by the Trial Court. Hence nothing survives in this petition. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
