Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to correct the total extent of lands as 3 acres 48 cents instead of 3 acres 11 cents in the Patta Nos.10 & 449, comprised in New Survey Nos.102/8C, 103/3 & 103/5, situated at Ponparappippatti Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District and to issue new pattas in the name of the petitioner considering the representation dated 19.07.2022.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to correct the total extent of lands as 3 acres 48 1/4

cents instead of 3 acres 11 cents in the Patta Nos.10 & 449, comprised in New Survey Nos.102/8C, 103/3 & 103/5, situated at Ponparappippatti Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District and to issue new pattas in the name of the petitioner considering the representation dated 19.07.2022.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advcocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner made representation on 19.07.2022 with a request to correct the total extent of lands and issue new patta in the name of the petitioner is pending without consideration. Therefore, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation to correct the total extent of lands as 3 acres 48 cents instead of 3 acres 11 cents in the Patta Nos.10 & 449, comprised in New Survey Nos.102/8C, 103/3 & 103/5, situated at Ponparappippatti Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District and issue new pattas in the name of the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity of hearing to the necessary parties, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4
