PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to renew the Public resort license No.Rc.No.E3(1)/101/33915/213 dated 26.01.2016 for the period of 2021-2022 by considering the application dated 19.01.2021 given by the petitioner.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 19.01.2021 seeking for renewal of license to run the public resort.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 19.01.2021 and take a decision strictly in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
