Prayer in W.P.No.21582 of 2012: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus call for the records of the 1st respondent with No.NCP/A2/33/97 dated 24.07.2012 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the 1st respondent to issue a fresh seniority list placing the petitioner in seniority No.1 with all other consequential reliefs and to pass such further orders.

Prayer in W.P.No.26385 of 2012: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus call for the records of the 1st respondent with No.NCP/OM/5/2010-2011 dated 13.08.2012 and to quash the same and consequently to direct respondents 1 and 2 to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant Engineer with effect from 13.08.2012, the date on which the third respondent is promoted with all other consequential benefits including seniority, arrears of wages etc and to pass such further orders. 2. Today, 27.02.2024, when the cases were taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioner had already been promoted as Assistant Engineer w.e.f. 27.03.2017. The same was also submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner and he made an endorsement to the effect in the case bundles.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsels on either sides, nothing survives in these writ petitions for further adjudication.

4. In the result, the writ petitions stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
