ORDER
The petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to take action on the petitioner's representation/complaint dated 10.11.2025 on the basis of the proceedings dated 5.3.2024 passed by the 3rd respondent.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the fourth respondent is running an illegal prawn farm in the mangrove forest lands comprised in Survey Nos. 607, 603, 604 and 606 at Thopputhurai Village, Vedaranyam Taluk, Vedaranyam, Nagapattinam District. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a complaint. Pursuant thereto, the third respondent issued a notice dated 05.03.2024 under the Land Encroachment Act, 1905, to the fourth respondent, to remove the encroachment in the aforesaid lands. However, no further action has been taken by the respondents.
3. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 10.11.2025 to the respondents, requesting them to enforce the notice dated 05.03.2024. Though the respondents received the same, no action has been taken so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. Heard the rival submissions and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
