This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of his Statutory Appeal dated 02.02.2015. 2.Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmughasundaram, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.Aggrieved by the order of the second respondent in Na.Ka.AD7/65095/14 dated 21.11.2014, staying all the petitioner's avenue namely, promotion, he has filed a statutory appeal before the first respondent on 02.02.2015. Since no orders has been passed by the first respondent on the said appeal, he has come forward with the present writ petition.

4.Considering the same, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's statutory appeal and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
