Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to call for the records and quash the proceedings in C.C.No.247 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam, Thiruppur District.

2.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

3.However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is working at Chennai and due to pandemic, he is not in a position to appear before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Kangayam, Thiruppur District in C.C.No.247 of 2015 for all the hearings and hence, he prays before this Court to dispense with the personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court.

4.Considering the above submission, the personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with. However, the petitioner is directed to appear before the the trial Court in C.C.No.247 of 2015 as and when required. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
