PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to take appropriate steps for shifting of the High Tension Over head lines located over the property belongs to the petitioner in plot No.8, Jaganathan Nagar, Comprised in Survey No.232/3A2, Korrattur Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 14.12.2017. For Petitioner : M/s.G.Vasudevan For Respondents : Mr.P.R.Dhilip Kumar

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to take appropriate steps for shifting of High Tension Over head lines located over the petitioner's property in plot No.8, Jaganathan Nagar, Comprised in Survey No.232/3A2, Korrattur Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 14.12.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.12.2017.

4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that appropriate orders will be passed on the said representation of the petitioner.

5. In the light of the above submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action of the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.12.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the necessary parties.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
