Petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the Respondents to promote him to the post of Deputy Collector with effect from the date of promotion given to his Junior, namely, C.S.Duraisamy, i.e. on 29.03.1996 with all monetary and service benefits as per G.O.(2D) No.37, Revenue (Ser.1), dated 27.01.2010 and the recommendation of the 2nd Respondent in his Proc.Ka.No.Va.Ni.3(2)8258/10, dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents submitted that, benefits sought for by the Petitioner have been extended vide proceedings in Letter No.R.A3(2)/ 24191/2020, dated 16.09.2020 issued by the Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai. Hence, according to the learned Government Advocate, nothing survives for consideration in this matter.

Recording the said submissions of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, as no further adjudication is necessary, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
