Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or Direction directing the Respondents 1 & 2 to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 16.02.2018 and 20.02.2018 respectively for transfer of the allotment in respect of plot no.26A, Door No.7, Nethaji 6th Street, Lakshmipuram, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai-600 041 in terms of the Tamil Nadu Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act & Rules 1971. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting liberty to
the petitioners to work out the remedy before the competent civil court. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
