Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the first respondent relating to order in GO(2D).No.513 Revenue Ser (10-2) Department dated 09.10.2009 to quash the same and issue consequential directions to include the name of the petitioner in the panel of Tahsildars for the year 2001 for Sivaganga District approved in Pro.Na.Ka.No.A1/10600/2002 dated 28.06.2002 by the third respondent and on that basis to give retrospective effect to his promotion as Tahsildar from the date of such Promotion of his immediate junior and 1/4
consequently issue revised list of Deputy Collector 2008 and on that basis, give retrospective effect to his promotion as such and to grant further promotion notionally on that basis as District Revenue Officer 2010, with all consequential benefits.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs.
