O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Plot Watcher in the light of the order passed by the Division Bench in W.A.No.887 of 2011 dated 29.04.2011 which was implemented in G.O.Ms.No.140, Environment and Forests (FR-2) Department, dated 30.5.2012.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that at the time of filing the writ petition, the age of the petitioner was 49 years and as on date he is 61 years old. Therefore, he cannot seek appointment to the said post. Hence nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication and the matter has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
