ERODE DISTRICT ..Respondents Prayer:- Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to directing respondents 1 to 4 to register a case against respondent 5 under section 302 IPC for his failure to hand over the body of the deceased Kalaiyarasi on 18.1.2010 to her family members and further directing respondents 1 and 2 to hand over the probe intothe death of Kalaiyarasi to Crime Branch CID and further directing respondents 1 and 2 to initiate appropriate disciplinary action against respondents 4 and 5 for the burial of deceased Kalaiyarasi and also directing respondent 1 State of Tamilnadu to award adequate compensation to the Children of the deceased Kalaiyarasi the sister of the petitioner. This writ petition was filed to transfer the investigation to the file of CBCID.

The learned Government Advocate brought to the notice of this Court that a final report was filed after the investigation and the trial was conducted before the Additional District Court (Fast Track Court), Erode in S.C.No.54 of 2011. Ultimately, a judgement came to be passed by the Sessions Court on 01.10.2012 acquitting all the accused persons.

In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition and accordingly, the same is closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
