2.The prayer of the petitioner is for a mandamus directing the respondent to consider representation dated 27.05.2022. The following order was passed on 10.02.2023 when the matter came up for admission: 'Mr.S.J.Mohd. Sadiq, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for R1 and seeks some time to obtain instructions and file a counter .
2.Notice to R2 and R3 through Court as well as privately, returnable 06.03.2023. Proof of service be placed on file by then.
3.In the meantime, Mr.Mohd. Sadiq states that a Peace Committee Meeting is scheduled on 21.02.2023 before the Tahsildar of Kottai, Salem District, wherein the petitioner as well as the private respondents are expected to participate. Let this go on as scheduled and report be filed prior to the next date of hearing.
4.List on 06.03.2023. Counter by then with an advance copy served upon the petitioner.'
3.Mr.P.Harish, learned Government Advocate for R1 and Mr.K.Selvaraj, learned counsel appearing for R4 would submit that an 2/4
order had been passed on 17.03.2023, pursuant to the peace committee meeting setting out the amicable arrangement that the parties have arrived at and the festival of Sri Mariamman Kovil, Kondalampatti, which is the subject matter of the writ petition had also gone on smoothly. 4.In fact, the same order had assisted in the conduct of the temple festival for the present year as well, they state. Hence, since the object of the writ petition has been achieved, nothing further survives in this writ petition and the same is closed. No costs.
