JUDGMENT

This criminal appeal has been filed praying to set aside the judgment dated 23.01.2015 passed in SC.No.41 of 2013 by the learned III Additional Sessions Judge at Puducherry, thereby convicting and

sentencing the appellant to undergo seven years rigorous imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/-, I/d to undergo one year rigorous imprisonment for the offence under Section 304(1) of IPC. 2.

The learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the sole appellant/A1, who was convicted and sentenced to undergo seven years rigorous imprisonment, already died.

Therefore, all the charges against the appellant has abated. Accordingly, this criminal appeal is dismissed as abated. 24.04.2026 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking/non-speaking order lok
