ORDER
Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.449 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a), 4(1)(i) read with Sections 4(1)(C), 4(1)(A) of TNP Act, the present petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that based on the secret information, the respondent Police found that the petitioner in illegal possession of 25 bottles of Blue Grape Brandy 90 ML. Hence the case .
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. 4 . Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, while opposing for grant of anticipatory bail is that the petitioner was found in possession of 25 bottles of Blue Grape Brandy 90 ML. He further submitted that the petitioner has 29 previous cases, which are similar in nature, pending against her.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent and also perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the nature of allegations, the fact that earlier anticipatory bail application was dismissed by this Court vide order dated 20.01.2025 the petitioner twenty nine previous cases which are similar in nature and that there
is no change in circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 14-03-2025 msv To The Inspector of Police Villupuram West Police Station, Villupuram District.
