This petition has been filed to register the petitioner's complaint dated 12.04.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is receiving some unwanted SMS from OLA cabs and it is causing unnecessary annoyance to the petitioner.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 12.04.2016, the respondent police have issued instructions to the concerned operators to desist from sending such SMS.

5. Since the complaint does not disclose any cognizable offence, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent as prayed for by the petitioner.
