C.M.P.Nos.3164 & 3205 of 2020 in C.M.A.Nos.SR.40312 & 40313 of 2018 V.M.VELUMANI, J.

These petitions have been filed to condone the delay of 49 days in filing the above appeals.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not challenging the quantum of compensation granted by the Tribunal to the claimants.

3.The respondents 6 and 7 remained exparte before the Tribunal and hence notice to the respondents 6 and 7 are dispensed with. The appeal has been filed only with regard to the negligence and liability on the appellant and 8th respondent and hence, notice to the respondents 1 to 5 are also dispensed with.

4.Mr.J.Michael Visuvasam, takes notice for the 8th respondent and submitted that the 8th respondent has no objection in ordering this petition. 5.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the 8th respondent.

6.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the above petition, the delay of 49 days is condoned and these petitions are ordered.
