The Writ Petition has been filed to call for records pertaining to the impugned order passed in proceedings C.No.Estt V(1)/93/33669/2008 dated

02.07.2008 on the file of the 3rd respondent and quash the same and direct the 1 to 3 respondents to consider further promotion of the petitioner as Inspector of Police (AR) as per the original list of Head Constables (AR) promoted as Sub Inspectors (AR) for the year 2000 dated 12.08.2000.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect.

3. Permission granted. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
