PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the Second Respondent namely, Area Marketing Manager (TN & P) Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Chennai in his intimation ref. AMM (T) DS Karur dated 13.10.2011 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.02.2011 for the appointment of Retail Outlet (Petrol Pump) Dealership at Paraiyapattipudur (on GN Koot Road) Dharmapuri District.

O R D E R

Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents/ Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited made a submission that the subject location for commissioning of retail outlet had already been closed. The Petitioner, pursuant to the interim order passed by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this Court, attended the interview conducted on 12.01.2012 and secured 43.69 marks out of 100. Thus, the Petitioner was not selected for allotment of retail outlet. In view of the fact that the Petitioner was not selected, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised in the writ petition.

2.Further, the writ petition was filed in the year 2011 and 10 years lapsed. If at all the Petitioner is eligible, she is at liberty to participate in the forthcoming selection if any notified by the Respondents.

3.With these observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
