O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2024 thereby the respondents to grant permission and police protection for conducting "Arulmigu Mariamman Temple Pongal festival" between 18.02.2025 to 26.02.2025 at Maachampalayam, Moliyapalli Village, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District-637 201.

2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation submitted by the petitioner, the 3rd respondent, Inspector of Police, Tiruchengode Police Station, Namakkal, is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the counterparty and pass orders on the merits within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
