Respondents Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance a writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenue by name Varalakshmi, daughter of Shankar, aged about 18 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The detenue is a major and also the daughter of the petitioner and alleging illegal custody/detention on the part of the 3rd respondent, the petitioner came forward to file the present petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions would submit that the detenue, on her own volition, went with the 3rd respondent and got married and in the the light of the said development, nothing remains for further adjudication. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The Court heard the submissions of Mr.C.Iyyappa Raj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

In the light of the said development, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
