Respondent Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Declaration, declaring the Key Answer i.e., "(B)' for the Question No.39 in the question pattern No.MMJD176, in the Civil Judge Examination held on 24.11.2019 as "Wrong" and award "One Mark" to the petitioner for the aforesaid Question No.39 for answering the right answer "(C)" and consequently direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to appear for the Main Examination of the Civil Judge Exam as per the notification issued by the respondent. It is informed that even though the representation/objection filed by the petitioner had been received after the closure date, yet, similar objections in relation to the same question had been received from other candidates and were examined and the Expert Committee upheld the status of the Key answer as correct basing its opinion on the Five Judges Constitution Bench decision in the case of Dharam Pal and others v. State of Haryana and another, reported in (2014) 3 SCC 306.

3. In the wake of the aforesaid information tendered on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, we see no reason further to entertain this writ petition, which is accordingly, closed. No costs.
