Late Rangasamy Gounder and also to implead the sections of 307, 354, 384, 452, 509 , 511 under IPC provisions, including Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harrasment of Woman Act, 2002 and to investigate the same over the crime No.1409 of 2020 which was registered at the valapathy police station.

ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent Police to alter the offence in the First Information Report and also to add the name of some of the accused persons involved in the case.

2. The learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed and a referred charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Gingee, on 12.11.2020 in RCS No.40 of 2020.

3. In view of this development, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a Protest Petition before the Judicial Magistrate, Gingee and the same shall be entertained by the Court below and shall be proceeded with in accordance with law.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
