The returned cover has also been filed along with the affidavit of service. Since the notice has been returned unclaimed, which amounts to deemed service, the respondent is set exparte by this Court. The name of the respondent is also printed in the cause list today.

2. This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of time for the Arbitrator to pronounce the arbitral award.

This Court is satisfied with the reasons contained in the affidavit filed in support of this application as sufficient cause has been shown for seeking extension of time for the Arbitrator to pronounce the arbitral award. Accordingly, this application is allowed as prayed for by granting six months' time for the Arbitrator to pronounce the arbitral award. 19.02.2025 rkm 2/3
