This Contempt Petition was filed on the ground that the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP.No.20419 of 2023, dated 7.9.2023, was not complied with.

KP 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the investigation was completed and a final report was filed before the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai on 26.3.2024.

3.In view of the above, this contempt petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police in Crime No.838 of 2019, within a period of four weeks.
