[ Respondents] Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent herein to forthwith issue a Computer extract of Patta No.4359 in the name of the Petitioner in respect of the property of an extent of 0.22 cents in Survey No.84/6 of Padinallur Village Ponneri Taluk Trivellore District pursuant to the application dated 27.2.2015 made by the Petitioner under Token No.1187.

ORDER

Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent to issue a Computer extract of Patta No.4359 in his name in respect of the property measuring an extent of 0.22 cents in Survey No.84/6 of Padinallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Trivellore https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

District, pursuant to the application dated 27.02.2015 made by him under Token No.1187.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's application dated 27.02.2015 for issuance of computer extract of Patta, the 2nd respondent has not issued the same.

5. Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and to pass orders in accordance with law, within a time frame.

6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.02.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
