Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner on 04.12.2017, based on the enquiry conducted on 06.02.2018, arising out of the Patta proceedings.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent has not disposed the appeal so far. Therefore, it is for the respondent to consider the said appeal and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as other interested parties. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in the said appeal. Accordingly, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the interested parties, if any, if the said appeal is not yet disposed of.
