This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition imposed by this Court in paragraph 8 in Crl.O.P.No.32044 of 2024 dated 02.01.2025.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court, while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner on 02.01.2025, directed him to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with two sureties. He further submits that the petitioner and his relatives hails from the poor background and they do not own any immovable properties, thereby, he seeks for modification. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. Taking into consideration the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the amount of surety bond alone, thereby, the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) instead of Rs.25,000/-. It is made clear that all other conditions remain unaltered and the petitioners shall execute the sureties within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.
