O R D E R

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would state that the petitioner died and the matter has been settled between the parties. The entire amount due to the deceased petitioner, Sinivasulu was paid to the widow, Padmini. He would further submit that when the matter came before the Lok Adalat on 22.01.2016, it was represented by the Counsel appearing for the Corporation that the matter was settled between the parties and nothing survives in the matter. The same was recorded before the Lok Adalat and an order was also passed as the matter was settled.

2. In view of the aforesaid submission and the order dated 22.01.2016 passed in the Lok Adalat, this Court is of the view that no further order is necessary in this Writ Petition as the matter has been settled between the parties. Therefore, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 06.02.2023 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order vsi 2/4
