2. The writ petition is filed with a prayer to declare the Rules in Appendix VIII Part I, in particular Rules 5 & 16 of the Madras Medical Code for Training and Recruitment of Nurses in Government Hospitals in the State of Tamil Nadu and consequential Rule 11 of the Tamil Nadu State & Subordinate Service Rules (Part I & II), as regards appointment and training of nurses in Government Hospitals & Health Centres in the State of Tamil Nadu, as ultra vires.
3. When the matter came up for hearing, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner association. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and learned counsel appearing for the respondents 5 & 6 are present.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
