ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed on the allegation that the petitioner's father Mr. Kalidas s/o Thandavarayan aged about 52 years have been illegally detained by the second respondent.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up, there was no representation on either side. We have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor alone.
3. This Court on an earlier occasion by order dated 08.06.2015 directed the parties to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. Now, the report has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
received from the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre dated 25.09.2015 reporting that the matter has been settled between the parties. The settlement arrived at between the parties reads as follows:
"Both the parties appeared before the Centre along with their Counsel. Matter has been settled between them as per the terms cited in the Mediation Agreement enclosed. Hence the matter is sent back to the Hon'ble Court."
4. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
