O R D E R

This petition has been filed to modify condition No. 1, wherein the petitioner/accused is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) into the account of the Judicial Magistrate No. II, Chengalpattu, in connection with Crime No.52 of 2024 of Guduvanchery Police Station, as per the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.227/2025 in Crime No.52/2024 dated 28.01.2025 by the Hon'ble District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu.

2. The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.52 of 2024 registered for the offences under Sections 408 & 420 of I.P.C. The petitioner is an accused cheated a sum of Rs.6,00,000/-. Pursuant to the registration of the F.I.R, the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.01.2025. While the petitioner filed a petition for bail, he was granted bail on the conditions to deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- to the credit of Judicial Magistrate No.II, Chengalpattu in Crime No.52 of 2024. The petitioner has not been able to comply the condition and as such, he is still in incarceration and remanded.

3. Considering the period of incarceration, the conditions imposed by the Principal District and Sessions Court are modified to the effect that condition (i) is deleted and the other conditions are intact.
