O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders in the appeal petition dated 21.09.2023 wherein the petitioner has sought for the cancellation of patta issued in the name of the 2nd respondent with respect to the subject property. 2.

Heard Mr.I.Murugan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, for 1st respondent. 3.

It is seen from records that after the petitioner had filed the appeal, notice was issued and the petitioner has also attended the enquiry. However, till date, since no final orders have been passed, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 21.09.2023 after 2/4

giving an opportunity to the 2nd respondent, on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
