Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records in pursuant to the first impugned order issued by the fifth respondent in proceedings Mu.Mu.No.29292/Na.O.Sa (5)/2014 dated 09.09.2014 & the second impugned order issued by the fifth respondent in proceedings Mu.Mu.No.18527/Na.O.Sa(5)/2015 dated 29.04.2016 and quash these orders and consequently direct the respondents to grant pension and other pensionary benefits to the petitioner under the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules 1978 with interest at the rate of 12% per annum with effect from the date of his retirement on 30.06.2014 with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has sent a letter dated 09.07.2023 Page No.2 of 5
stating that he is not pressing this writ petition. Therefore, the learned counsel sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.
2. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
