The instant writ petition is filed to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the Director of Municipal Administration, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Chennai, the first respondent herein to promote the petitioner nationality to the post of Accountant, Manager, Manager (Selection grade), Manager (Special grade) with effect from the dated his Junior, the third respondent herein came to be promoted as laid down by the Apex Court in C.O.Arumugam's case and Sulekh chand's case and consequently regularise the period of suspension as duty and disburse all the service and monetary benefits in all promotional posts including the revised Vth pay commission arrears within a short date.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the issue involved in this writ petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. The learned counsel for the petitioner also states that the petitioner has passed away. The submission is taken on record.
3. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
