ORDER
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 11.10.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 103(1) of BNS in Crime No.702 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

The allegation against the petitioner herein is that on 10.10.2025, he developed a wordy quarrel with the defacto complainant in this case near a wine shop and attacked the defacto complainant and his friends using knife; that thereafter, the defacto complainant and his friends got frightened, tried to move away from the place in a auto; that the petitioner attacked a dog using knife and also attacked the deceased in this case, who is a passer-by; that on next day, the deceased succumbed while undergoing treatment. Hence, this case.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner herein is a college student and he has been falsely implicated in this case; that the investigation of this case has been completed and final 2/4
report also filed; that the petitioner is in judicial custody since 11.10.2025; and that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner. 4.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner has one previous case registered in Crime No.507 of 2025 on the file of the Kodungaiyur Police Station; and that the investigation of this case has been completed and final report also filed.

I have considered the submissions made on both sides and perused the materials available on record. Though, it is stated that the final report in this case has been filed, considering the facts of this case, the series of offence committed by the petitioner herein and the previous antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.
Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 04.02.2026 stn 3/4
