The instant writ petition is filed to issue a writ of certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 1st respondent herein in letter No.28707/CL1/2008-15 dated 16.12.2009, quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent herein to pay the terminal benefits including gratuity, pension, contributed pension, etc. to the petitioner with interest at 12% per annum for the period of belated payment after deducting the sum of Rs.9,000/- within the stipulated period.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the issue involved in this writ petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. The submission is taken on record.
3. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
