The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to enquire and pass orders on petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2020, requesting to stop the festival for the year 2020 in Arulmighu Mela Mari Amman Temple, Thethakudi North, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District scheduled to be held on 12.02.2020.

2. On 11.02.2020, this Court had passed an order to convene a Peace Committee meeting of all concerned on 12.02.2020 and granted permission to conduct festival on 12.02.2020. Since the Tahsildar has already granted permission, the festival was conducted on 12.02.2020. As already the festival has been conducted as per the direction of this Court, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. Hence, this Writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
