O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to file a final report in Crime No.752 of 2009 dated 1/9/2009 pending on the file of the respondent Police.

2. Heard Mr.G.M.Sankar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the Investigation Officer was present before this Court and submitted that during floods, files have been damaged in the Police Station. Therefore, they could not file final report immediately.

4. Investigation Officer further submitted that they have reconstructed the files and conducted the investigation and they will file a final report within a period of four months.

5. Recording the submission of the Investigation Officer, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The respondent Police is directed to file a final report, within a period of four months from today, as stated before this Court. Sd/- Deputy Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar mvs.
