This writ petition was filed in the year 2010, when the petitioner was aged about 52 years. The challenge made in the writ petition is to the order of transfer.

2. Mr.V.Ajoy Khose, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also fairly stated that nothing survives in the writ petition, as the petitioner had already retired from service on reaching the age of superannuation.

3. Recording his statement, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
