This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in V.No.393/2016/B1 dated 12.03.2016 on the file of the 1st respondent.

2.When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the time limit mentioned in the proceedings of the 1st respondent in V.No.393/2016/B1 dated 12.03.2016 is only for six months and that itself is over by September 2016. Therefore, this petition has become infructuous.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor did not dispute the fact submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives further for adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
