ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.10.2020, requesting the respondents to pay compensation for the trees and the land situated in Kesavampalayam Village, Udumalapet Taluk, Tiruppur District comprised in S.No.206 and S.No.230 to an extent of 29.25 Acres out of total 81 acres under Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.

2. Today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of by the respondent within a period of 12 weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, it appears that the petitioner's representation was filed as early as in the year 2020. In such case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondents. In such case, the 4th respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of said representation.
