ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the entire proceeding/records pending investigation on the file of the respondent, the Sub Inspector of Police, D Nagar Police Station, Puducherry in Cr.No.21 of 2018 against the petitioner and quash the same.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) submitted that the respondent police has completed the investigation and filed a report before the jurisdictional Magistrate. But even till today, the learned Magistrate has not yet taken cognizance on the report filed by the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

police. However, prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report filed by the respondent police, in accordance with law. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
